PuzzlStreak ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. PuzzlStreak is designed from the ground up to process your puzzle screenshots locally on your device or via secure, non-identifiable caching protocols.
2. Information We Collect
We believe in data minimization:
- No Account Required: You do not need to create an account or provide personal information (such as your name, address, or phone number) to use PuzzlStreak.
- Photos & Camera: The app requests permission to access your camera or photo library solely when you choose to scan a puzzle board. Images are processed directly for text extraction and are not stored on remote servers.
- In-App Purchases: All subscription and purchase transactions are processed directly by Apple App Store (via RevenueCat) or Google Play. We never see or store your credit card or financial billing details.
- Advertising & Analytics: If you use the free version, Google AdMob may serve rewarded video advertisements to grant additional scans. AdMob may collect non-identifiable device identifiers in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
3. How We Use Information
Any non-personal technical data collected is used solely to:
- Deliver progressive hints and clues for your scanned puzzles.
- Verify your Pro Pass subscription status across app sessions.
- Ensure app stability and performance.
4. Third-Party Services
Our app integrates with trusted industry partners:
- Apple App Store: For app distribution, StoreKit 2 transactions, and receipt validation.
- RevenueCat: For managing in-app purchase receipts and subscription entitlements.
- Google AdMob: For serving optional rewarded video ads.
5. Children's Privacy
PuzzlStreak does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under 13. The app is rated 4+ and is safe for general audiences.
