Terms of Use & End User License Agreement (EULA)

Summary: By downloading or using PuzzlStreak, you agree to these Terms and Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period.

1. Agreement to Terms & Apple EULA

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PuzzlStreak ("we", "our", or "the app"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using PuzzlStreak, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which is incorporated herein by reference.

2. In-App Purchases & Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

PuzzlStreak provides free daily access with optional premium tiers ("PuzzlStreak Pro") to unlock unlimited screenshot scans, spoil-free puzzle hints, and an ad-free experience:

PuzzlStreak Pro Monthly (Auto-Renewable Subscription):
- Product Title: PuzzlStreak Pro Monthly
- Duration: 1 Month
- Pricing: $2.99 USD per month (or equivalent local price tier as displayed in the App Store).
- Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-Renewal: The subscription automatically renews each month unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Account Charging: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current monthly period at the standard monthly rate.
- Cancellation & Management: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions at any time in your iOS Device Settings (go to Settings > [Your Apple ID Name] > Subscriptions > PuzzlStreak). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
PuzzlStreak Pro Lifetime (Non-Consumable Purchase):
- Product Title: PuzzlStreak Pro Lifetime
- Pricing: One-time purchase of $9.99 USD (or local equivalent).
- Access: Permanent unlimited scans and pro features with no recurring charges.
- Restoration: You can restore your Lifetime purchase on any iOS device associated with your Apple ID using the "Restore Purchases" button in the app.

3. Free Tier & Daily Allowances

Free tier users receive one (1) complimentary screenshot scan replenished every morning. Additional scans may be unlocked by voluntarily viewing rewarded video advertisements via Google AdMob or by upgrading to PuzzlStreak Pro.

4. Permitted Use & Intellectual Property

PuzzlStreak is an independent puzzle companion application designed to provide assistance, statistics, and hints for daily word and logic puzzles. PuzzlStreak is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The New York Times Company or any other third-party puzzle publisher.

5. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we process screenshot data locally and handle user preferences.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The app is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PuzzlStreak disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and error-free operation.
